Any on-road 1/5 racers near the rc track in Homestead speedway?
I just moved to Miami and I was told they race rc here.
I was wondering if there are any On-Road 1/5 guys around here.
I know Frank Killam was trying to setup a race here to prepare the track for a possible worlds event here, but that never happened.

Now that we have a hardcore 5th scale racer in Florida, we should revisit a Year-end '13 Intl Homestead race to avoid the crazy humidity. Let me know how I can help. I can loop Frank in via email or phone.

I was going to race in Italy next year but will switch to FLA if we can put something together. The top South Americans will come up to Florida no doubt.

I'll pick Florida over Italy anyday to be reunited with My partner in crime Luis!

Great news!!!
if I can get a few local guys into it, I wouldnt mind starting a 1/5 scale series in FL.

I also have some news for those of you that like traveling with your 1/5 cars.
I was told that the Copa America for 2013 will take place from March 28th thru March 31st. So mark your calendars. Im not sure where it is but I think it will be in Brasil!!!! Yea baby!!! Samba!!!
So, Hugh, save your money, dont get Euros, instead get some Brazilian real.... LOL
As soon as I get more info on the Copa America, I will post here.

Getting back to the Homestead track subject, I need to get in touch with Frank again, because he has the info of the owner or local guy that runs that place and I would like to get in touch with them before getting there. The weather here right now is freaking AWESOME!!!!! 60-70 F all day...So lets see if we can get a race before the end of the year.

ok, I just got confirmation about the Copa America will be held in Porto Alegre Brasil.
