Hi, I was wondering what the typical shelf life of 2-stroke oil is. I know that we have no idea usually how old the oil is when we purchase it, and there is no markings indicating expected life or manufacture date. If its in it's bottle, sealed then should oil be ok for a year or two to use? I had a bottle of expensive race oil I'd used previously but didn't race for about 18 months so wasn't sure if it would still be usable, or at least at its previous level. Any ideas, how long should you keep oil for?
