Sound like an air leak?

The fun never ends with this new Baja, I swear.

So, the carb on this 30.5 CY has always been a little strange. nicely running on the LSN was ~3/4 a turn out, otherwise it'd bog and die.

As the carb appears to be a Ruixing clone of the WT-668, I had a friend point a finger at the carb gaskets being a problem.

I kept running the Baja, as it didn't really effect anything.

Fast forward a week, and 3 tanks of fuel later.

On a rollover, the Baja pulled a good one on me. Coil shifted too close to the flywheel (rubbing), and I ran out of gas. So, I took it home with the intention of regapping the coil, and figuring out a more secure method of locking the damned coil into place.

After regapping the coil and such, the motor was having difficulty firing. Good spark, gettin fuel, but I noticed air bubbles in the intake side of the fuel line. My memories from my Nitro days immediately said "Air leak!"

So once I got the motor running, I sprayed the carb body with carb cleaner. Motor puked and died.

Restarted it, repeated, same thing.

I'm going to guess that this carb needs to be rebuilt, and if that doesn't fit it, an actual WT-668 in it's place.

Sound about right?
