Aaron, this was a 1/4 scale Raco Sidewinder. Probably built back in the early 90's. Most of what you see in the pics are fabricated parts I made while trying to bring this car back to life. To answer your question, its not a kit you can buy.

Its more like a complete disaster!....

I looked for one before I started this project and I couldn't find one, but I didn't look as hard as I could have. I was hoping to buy all the chassis pieces from Pro 1 or WCM and then weld it up my way, but I never even called them and asked them if they would sell me just the chassis components.

Do you have a local metal supply store that has 3/8" chrome moly tube or mild steel?

You know I think this a lot of this car. So for as much work that you have done, why not chrome the frame and polish the aluminum parts.

Pipe looks good.

Yup, its not gonna be the lightest 1/4 scale car thats for sure, lol.

I havent weighed it yet, I will. I have lots more to do. If its not fast enough, I'll have to put one bad little Zenoah in there...
Very Kool!

Why is the carb facing the rear? Seems you loose alot of power.
Is there any way to rotate the motor to face the carb on top and do a window scoop to force air?

I really like this..

You need on of these in your Nascar. LOL!

I was thinking of fabricating somekind of forced induction cold air system.
