Any advise for body and cage for the losi 5t? As I got a used one without body and it is quite pricy with the cage..... or any good buggy conversion?

Get a Losi 5ive-B.......it's a kit.

In my opinion....yes. That's what I have in my Losi 5ive T and 5ive B.

I think the Rovan body and cage should drop right onto a 5ive.

I'm looking to get my first 1/5th scale. I will be using it for casual bashing nothing too crazy. Would I be making a good choice getting the 5T or is the MTXL a better option? I do like the size of the MTXL quite a bit... Not planning to do any crazy mods to either one.
I also plan on using my Futaba 4PX unless that's not a good choice.
Thanks in advance for any help with this.

The 4PX is the best money can buy - no issues there. I really like the 5IVE platform because it is a proven design and just is a work horse. The MTXL addresses a lot of minor issues of the DBXL and it is looking to be pretty great. One reservation of the MTXL is that there will only ever be one option for tires on that thing while the 5IVE has no shortage of different shoes to pick from.

Tough call really.

So I decided to go with the 5ive-t. It was delivered today. I also received my full outerwares from ddm today. Thanks...
Any must haves that I should add? I have a super bee kill switch already.
It looks sweet but the official unboxing is 12-25-16 can't wait...

It says that it comes with a 5200 lipo. Is there a reason to upgrade that to the killer or are you thinking that it didn't come with one like the older kit?
Thanks

Well after running the bartolone raw unsilenced pipe, I can tell you it really wakes up the power band over stock. More power everywhere. The one negative (or positive), it sounds like a 125 cc two stroke. Awesome way to get sneers from the neighbors...lol. Bottom line is, I love it. Highly recommended.

There is some open land around me. Haven't found anything great yet. Always on the lookout for new places to run...
It's the bartolone xp silenced pipe.
I'm not sure what your referring to in the first part of your post...
