I am seriously considering getting into 12th or even 10th scale oval racing and was wondering how much it would cost me to do this. I have a transmitter, but nothing else. I know that I would need a motor, reciever/esc, batteries, charger, possibly a shell and tire/wheel sets in addition to the kit. I run nitro now and am not real familiar with the ins and outs of electric r/c's. Any help would be appriciated. I would like to keep it as low as possible but not comprimise performance.

for someone without electric parts, it will cost about $250-$300 at least. But, if you get used parts, you can have a good set-up for about $200
