Thanks....Ive been working on it trying to make it smoother. Also gonna put some pipes around the outside of it. Me and my nephew ran on it on Sunday and had a blast. Now if only I could get some of the guys out here into the oval thing it would be cool.

I have a banked dirt oval in my back yard too lol It's nowhere near the size of yours though . It's a 1:10 scale 1/4 mile , 115 ft runline. we run losi sliders , mini sprints , and AE b44's converted to latemodels

For those with a little guts, you gotta turn right also. The track is also a Figure 8 track.

Great idea doing a figure 8. My wife has been trying to get me to turn mine into one.
I have a 150 ft Tri Oval in my backyard complete with drivers stand. It has 10-12 ft lanes also and is banked. Its packed clay but its a little loose after grooming. So far I have just used it as a practice track with my 1/10 scale cars and I plan on running RC 18 late models on weeknights when I get some lights up. I have run my 1/8 Nitro Late Model on it but its a little tight.
Here are some pics.

Tracks looks good bro. Yeah the figure 8 thing is a blast. I figure it dont cost as much to fix these as it did my real figure 8 car. And it dont hurt!

What kinds of cars/trucks do you run Figure 8...and how do you toughen them up enough to take the hits they're going to take?

Sounds like a blast.

I personally use a Losi XXXCR buggy converted to a Late model. I dont toughen anything up.....if it gets hit, I just fix it. Its really not that bad.
