Default T4 Set-up--Carpet Oval

Picked up a T4 to run some carpet oval and would like to know is there a way to get all the rear toe-in out of the truck? Running foam tires w/7.5 Lipo. I know that some of the toe-in is in the rear hub carriers but what about the rear mounts? Had a B3 with mounts that could be changed to "0" degrees. Where could such parts be obtained, part numbers etc... Thanks!

Try AE part #7487

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXZWK3&P=M

That will get you down to 2.5* of toe in.

PLUS, read up on regular pan car oval racing. A lot of that stuff carries over even though it's a T4.

A trick I have picked up for dirt oval on a B4 is to drill an 1/8th" hole where the stock capture pin is on the rear t plate and shave enough out of the center for arm clearance, put the hinge pin through the new hole and a 4-40-1/2" screw into the old hole and it will be really close to 0 degree. This is with stock B4/T4 hubs. I have done this to 2 previous B4 dirt oval cars, honestly only on the right rear. But a friend of mine did it on both sides sucessfully just didn't have enough forward bite.

Andy,

We used to run T4's up here all the time on dirt ovals. We took the 2 or 3 rear hubs and ran them in reverse; left on right, right on left, just like you could with the old RC10's. Got rid of most of the toe that way.

Re-drilling the rear mount is another way, but you may want to buy more than 1 spare!
