Default Daytona/Talledega Race-Go Cart Track Near Madisonville Ky-Oct 8th 2010

Mark Martin said this on Madisionville's Website:
I have mentioned this in an earlier post and wanted to set a date for it. To catch you guys up on it, this is something we did last year, there is a vacant go cart track here in madisonville, LIGHTED we had a race there last year on a Friday night. The track is 20 ft wide with probably 100 ft straigt aways and banked, its concrete serface and smooth. We had a blast the last time we raced there, it was pure nascar style truck racing, drafting ect. Another nice thing about racing it is you need almost no spotters, the trucks will just spin out and you can gather it back up and go on. We will be able to run in packs like they do in nascar, this will be cool, I am also going to post this on the Reo Site to see if we can make this a big event. We will have a class for anything that is brought, Corr Trucks, 4x4 Corr, touring cars, late models, you name it. I think Friday night is the best time to have it as I think reo doesnt race on Fridays and we can have our weekly race at the go cart track. I am looking at October the 8th and start about 6 or 6;30 WHO UP FOR THIS ? post up I would like to make this an annual event with a nice trophies going to the winners of the classes. Come on guys let run Talladega RC style
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I plan on attending this race since the entry is only $5 per class.
It is also a trophy race too.
I plan on running my Slash and my touring car.

Others I know are interested as well, like Anthony Johnson(Sexy Redneck)
and Josh Morgan is planning on coming too.

They will have plenty of Electric 8th scale late models there too, since
Go Cart Type tracks are perfect for them. I hope Wes Atherton goes
but I cant promise anything that he will be there.

It's smooth concrete, you should be fine.

I'm probably gonna be using rubber tires thou, no foams, no slicks.

You outa come there, it's only a one time a year race as far as I know.
Im excited myself, golfland used to do something simialr on thier go cart track.
But we played back then, no racing really, this is different.
