i am going to help out at tanger tomorrow. we will be setting up a track, but it is going to be mostly for smaller scales and electrics. you can check out details on the electric forum. if we do any 1/5th scale it will be just a few parade type laps. I will be away labor day weekend, won't be back at train station until two weeks from now with track set up. Looking forward to it then. Check back for updates.

I really hope you guys come out to Tanger tomorrow with the 5th scale cars. Remember the real purpose of this race is to get as many racers as possible together to form a real RC club and have racing for all cars. We should be able to make a track (possibly with modifications) where you will be able to do more than parade laps.

BTW, ralphierace13 who runs the Floyd Bennett Field track yelled at me yesterday for not having 1/8 scale cars there. He was right too but I can only do so much with what I have.

Yes, come down to Deer Park. Anything does. Track will be up early. We should be there all day.

Good morning,I was at the Tangers mall race and heard you guys do race/practice at the station on Sundays.I only run off road and 10 scale touring car but me and a buddy would like to come down and run our sedans next Sunday. The 5th scale cars are way too cool in person and it is fun to see them in action. We can run ten scale there right? And also can some one give me a link with directions to the place? Thanks and see you next Sunday.

1/10th scales are welcome as i've run there also just be careful passing a 5th scale !!!

directions just do a google search to on maps from your location to "Ronkonkoma Station, Ronkonkoma, NY"

The directions will take you to one end of the station but the racing is setup in the corner (see pic)...

Let me know a date when a bunch of guys are going down, my brushless conversion on the 1/8 buggy is finally done, would love to take it down to the station and drive it around there! I'll be home for the next 3 weeks(With the exception of school starting tomorrow) just LMK!

On road, but you're welcome to bring your off road cars down.
