Looks liken you had a major tire malfunction. What caused that? I've never seen one torn like that.

Good looking baja. I have 2 5T's myself. They are a blast.

Thanks!

I think it was just debris in the sand. So I had to run the dirt busters in the sand for a bit. That sucked.

I'm sure it sucked big time. I drove my 5t on the beach with excavators on it and it was a turd.

I don't run foams in the rear. You don't need em. The tire will balloon and expand. Running foams adds a bit of weight and adds rotational inertia to the drivetrain. Those tires probably just failed because they were a little old. I got good use of of them. I've replaced them and did a full rebuild.

Wink

do you know what version rear wheels you are running? if you dremel away the sharp inner lip of rim near the bead, it stops the tires from rubbing/ripping from the inside..

on some of the rims that lip is really sharp and rubs the inside of the tires and wears them away, and causes them to rip, and since you not running any foams it might rub faster..JMO

Enjoy it while it's new and clean. After the first run it will never be that clean again.
