anyway i have a 5b baja and my buddy has a clone km. his is so much faster off the line. i think it is my carb. it boggs down on start . also his wheels roll alot easier then mine and mine acts like it catches alittle every 1/2 turn when you push it acoss the ground. does anyone have any advice. both cars are stock.tired of losing the race.thanks

try the following:

Remove the rear stinger from the Baja exhaust (the KM has the can but no stinger)
Reset your Carby to the factory settings in your manual and retune if necessary.
Clean your air filters
Check your plug.

The KM motor is slightly different in some respects, I know it has the metal starter pawl, not sure if it has the better carby, but if it does, that'd do it as the stock carby can bog down a bit.

Just run it easy on a single tank (40 minutes)... then let it rip.

It's a gas engine. They really don't have a set break in procedure. Just drive it sensibly.
