Also got a Motonica P81 RS3 but have no photos of it. It's the same as those 2 but with "Motonica" logos!

As for the bodys...as i don't like "Lola" bodys...i only got these:

Anyone know how long a 6000mah pack might last on 4S with 2600kv HW set up. Just purchased a Shepard 1/8 velox for 4s since that is the new IFMAR regulation. Not sure about making 10min in a main. The chassis is designed for shorty packs. Any info is appreciated!

Whoa Mark,
you going big now? Where you gonna run this one?
I got to run my 1/8th pan car yesterday at WSR during breaks in the nitro action and it was a blast! Full peg around the sweeper and planted. Once again I didn't have someone video the run. I'm finally getting the power sorted out so no more thermal issues and yet still plenty fast. The quickest nitro laps were in the mid 12sec and I managed to put down some 13.1 and 13.3sec laps on 2 cell with 2wd. Just to put it into perspective, MOD TC best times are in the mid 14sec range.

Your car looked pretty stout at SWR. What motor were you running with the 2S?

I was planning on heading to SWR this weekend to shake it down a bit. Planning the power package is going to take a little work, 4S with a 1900 or 2600 / Blinky vs. Boosted. Our races for the Protoform Cup at Steel City Speedway are 5 minutes but that track is a monster.

I'm running the hobbywing shortcourse combo with the 3660 4300kv 4 pole motor. I'm ordering the 3200kv version to try out as I had to seriously gear way down to get the temps under control with the 4300kv motor..

Having run a 4 cell setup in the past, I was able to get about 8 minutes on a 4600mah pack running the old Castle Mamba system at RAMS when they were at Mission Collage.
I think you could be ok with the 6000mah packs but I would get the largest capacity you can get in a shorty to be safe.

For the 1/8th Electric - the motors will be limited to 2800KV or less with 4S motor.

That make sense for 4wd due to the weight and drive train loads. I don't plan to run the pan car in that class at the Protoform race as it's a one-off design for myself for now. Besides, on 2s, the 2800kv might not produce enough RPM in a direct drive situation... maybe it will.
I wouldn't mind getting my hands on an e1/8 car soon.

Question, first time with an 1/8th scale, Serpent 977 with Xerun XR8 Plus 2600kv with 4S Reedy Zappers 8200mah. Appears to being thermal issues, shuts off, still set to default and run times less than 5 minutes. Still not using boost or turbo?

Default 977e

Probably over geared. You may also want to set the initial punch a bit lower on your esc.
