Now that I've got it tuned she is nice (for a $130 engine)
the 4 shoe clutch (or lighten up a 3 shoe) makes the buggy snap out of the corners...
it does seem like a gas-hog but that is to be expected
it has been very reliable so far
I think the next .21 I pick up will be OS's newest engine
(it is a prototype right now but should be out by next year I think)

The other thing I'm looking at is a .40 4stroke...tourque monster
I have a chassy just wating for a new motor Hmmmmmmm...

I just got started in 1/8th. I'm running a GS Storm with one of the OS RG's. What kind of head temp are you running.

Thanks

RG's make good power but tend to run hot...
I'll be at 245*-265* normally using a temp gun
try not to go any higher than that...if you dont have to.
that is with Bryons 20% & an OS A5 plug...
A lean low needle and/or high needle will cause it to get HOT...
a lightened set of clutch shoes help big time on shorter tracks for power.

I've been racing 1/10th gas for about 2 years now. I've pretty well got the hang of a .12. I'm running Blue Thunder 20% with a no 8 plug. Head temp is running in the 230 range. What is the difference between the A5's and the no.8's??

An 8 is like an A3 = Medium temp (8 is better plug $)
An A5 is a Medium/cold plug...
An 8 is more durable than an A3...
An A5 is posibly as durable if not more than an 8... (colder plug has thicker wire)
I'll check my chart and get back to you...

.21's don't need Hotter plugs...
but if you run one then you can get more power BUT an engine usually will run hotter too...

Hi Guys,

We just released a graphite radio tray for the MP 7.5, made of 2.5mm woven graphite. Pricing and pictures are available on our website.

Thanks
