Default Rj speed oval kits

Rj speed kits any good? I see 5 or 6 different variances with minor changes based on the same platform.
outlaw. Spec. Spinter. Lto. Ect.
am I just wasting the $180 and gonna end up with something different? Ty
any real life exp with these is appreciated as well.

"Any good" is going to be completely subjective, based upon what you want to do with it ... to my knowledge, other than RJ's Legends Car which occasionally will have a class at tracks, the rest of the RJ line-up will not usually be legal for most (dirt) oval track rules. I am not as aware of what most local carpet ovals may be running for classes though, something you may want to check out if organized racing is your interest, and would be most suited for an RJ type of car.

If you just want something that resembles full size oval cars to drive around a parking lot/etc with friends, I suppose it could suit that, however seeing foam tires on most RJ cars, they aren't going to last long.

I guess it comes down to 'consider how you want to use it', the AE SR10 I suggested to you on another thread, will usually run you a couple hundred bucks race ready used, it will be a lot more versatile, and will literally be like money in the bank as far as holding its value in a resale situation ...

Older B5/B6's/or other off-road buggies are also going relatively cheap these days ... install an oval class body of your choice, and you will have something that will be legal for most rules at (dirt) oval tracks across the country.

JMHO, as always ...

Here, tracks run IROC classes using the LTO.

I love them, they use to be a little bit cheaper, but they are nice for what they are.

As far as the tires, I've got 4 years and well over a hundred runs on mine.
