Yes these tires are sick. The car drives so stable and the damping is little firmer also.

My rear right diff bearing is making a screeching noise since it was new. I think it needs to be changed but I will wait until the next diff oil change and hopefully FID comes out with the 2.0 parts because I really really want those orange diff cups.

Also got a sawna transmitter and ditched the crappy spektrum.

Anyone have a problem with the car making high pitch winding sound at full throttle?

Problem solved.y center diff had lots of back and forth movement. Need to shim it properly.

Well I thought I bought a 16 tooth pinion but Instead I bought a 13 tooth stock pinion and put it on and I noticed no change at all. Later on I found out I bought a 13 tooth. Lol. Waste of $20

Seems like the large scale crew is still doing well. Idk what’s happening but some of my posts aren’t showing up (something to do with a moderator needing to approve them)!? Hopefully this one shows up and the moderators can assist with the issue.

On the V2, just waiting on some Losi chassis strengthening parts and a 17t pinion. Took it on a maiden drive in my backyard desert (Arizona) and it runs really well!! Also, you guys have any experience with high torque/speed 1/5th scale servos? Looking to beef up the steering without going to a dual setup.

Spektrum s9020 for around $200. I did go the dual servo setup because it was cheaper and you get the same amount of torque as the s9020. Came out to $90 servo, arms and Y splitter.
Dave_S and rudebwoyfishman like this.

Niz...I can get the 9020 Spektrums for a good bit cheaper than MSRP so I will likely go with that for a single setup (that’s the one I had my eye on anyway)

It is an excellent servo. Plus you have a great warranty.

Can't beat the mighty Hilantronics Hercules range, 40,50,or 70kg. Much better than the Spektrum. These are now the go to servos for large scale. I've been running them for a good 12 months and they are by far the best I've used, super quiet, fast, and very smooth
The 7010D 70kg will set you back $169

pretty much everyone i know that runs the s9020 loves it, but it's pricey. A while ago they were on sale for $169.

I don't even really spektrum for the most part. Their radio is worst I've owned.
