Default Street Stock 1/10 sct class

Rules: Any 1/10 scale sct chassis
Stock brushed motor
Open brushed ESC
Open gear rule
Open 1/10 scale tire rule.
So with that being said what chassis, bushed motor,ESC, and tires would you run? Thanks for any help.

I run in a class called Classics, which is rtr brushed motor, rtr esc and car bodies. I think everybody uses the Traxxas 12t motor, and we have a gearing and ride height limit (3/4"). It has made for some pretty close but fast racing. Last week 4 of us ran nose to tail for 30 laps.

The indoor track I run on is also high bank med to high bite. the original tire for the class was street tread Sc tires, but since they open it up, most people run something like a bar code, electron, switch or deja vu. I've tried those plus pins like subculture and raptor, rebars, typos, positrons and street tires. Out of all those bar codes and positrons are the best across the widest range of track change through the night; from muddy practice to tacky qualifier, to black groove mains.

What chassis are most guys running? With the rules we have it’s any sct chassis. I do have a traxxas slash. But may buy a different chassis? I have google chili bowl jr and some of the bigger race tracks. But no one talks about their chassis of choice. Thanks

I think its just preference on chassis. There are a lot of Slashes a handful of SC10s, a Durango, a Team C, And I think I am the only Losi. I would just keep it a production SC chassis, just to keep out the dedicated oval chassis and keep costs down.

I prefer the Losi due to adjustability, part tolerances, and familiarity with the platform. Both of my daughters and I run 22SCTs so we can use common spare parts as well.

We have to run a car body like the Parma baja muscle or the Parma street stock. I run the 71 Demon body.

Texas Postman and 55Guy like this.
