so i built my own chassis. 5mm 7075 alu
i like the freedom of choosing my own weight distribution. weight is slightly is the rear and that's my choice for freestyle
check the rear suspension arms+ shocks

My 5iveB has been undergoing a make over. I meticulously cleaned it up to look new, gave it a new bodyshell and paint job, plus some new rims/tyres/beadlocks, and shock covers

It's also getting all new electronics. Just waiting for the TP motor to be built and shipped, should only be a couple of days now

- XLX2 with Alza Racing carbon/alloy fan mount, and Powerhobbies HV high flow fan. The fan isn't needed from what i've read, it's just for looks really, however it sits much higher than the Max5, so i'm hoping it will stop the little bits of grass getting into the fan which has always been a problem
- TP Power 5860 850kv SENSORED motor, along with an 18T pinion
- Top Tuning motor mount now
- Hitec D845 servo mounted on the FullForce RC Kraken Vekta V3 alloy mount. These are a perfect fit for the 5iveB and T chassis
- SMC Extreme Graphene V2 8000mah 4S 120c lipos

See how this bad boy runs now. Projected speed should be just shy of 60mph, and of coure a truck load of TP Power

Very nice. Is TP adding the sensors to the motor, or is that getting done elsewhere? Your wiring job looks very good.

I suspect 60mph will be a breeze to hit with that setup

Cheers mate, it's been an expensive make over, but worth it. I love the 5iveB
Yeah TP make sensored motors now, specifically for the XLX2 really. Both big can and the popular small cans for the speed runners
