i don't know much about large scale rcs but judging from the description, it sounds like a 5IVE-T knockoff.

yeah but it says its compatible with the 5ive-t and it has aluminium parts

Its a knock off but they are hit and miss, for a few hundred more you can get the real thing. People hate these things and people love them.

I could be wrong, but it seems pretty expensive to me for a clone.

I was thinking the same thing. You can get a very nice used rig decked out for $1000
