There is an exciting device on the market today for the shooting sports, the Pro-Chrono Plus. The Pro-Chrono Plus is a device that measures the velocity of ammunition fired from a rifle, pistol or shotgun, paintballs from paint guns, arrows from a bow or pellets from an air gun.

The Pro-Chrono Plus chronograph operates on the principle of measuring the time it takes for an object to travel from the first sensor to the second sensor. The sensors gather light through two slits in the top of the case. The only light that sensors see is that which is directly above them. Any blockage of light, like from a projectile is converted into an electronic signal. The elapsed time between the two sensors, which are a set distance apart, is then converted into a velocity and displayed on the Pro-Chrono Plus's screen.

The Pro-Chrono Plus Plus is a must for any reloader. It gives you the ability to check the velocity of the ammunition you are loading and helps ensure that the pressures are in the tolerance of a reloading manual, after all, excessive pressures can be dangerous. Paintballers will also find it extremely useful in checking and setting the velocity of their paintball guns. Just check out some of it's features:
