Reds M7 WCS Diamond Version
Has anyone try out the new Reds M7 WCS Diamond?
Sure looks nice and the info on it states that its an improvement, cant wait for some feedback from those that will run one.
Also looking at this engine, anyone tried?
Anyone at all have this motor or know anyone that has ran it ? What about the 2015 one with the black head ? anyone ? come on now lol

Superb engines full stop.
My 2014 WCS Black Head v1 is my practice donkey, very fast (still) and all I've done is change the rod every 2-3 gallons. Still on original rear ceramic bearing (I did upgrade the front to the rubber seal, better idle), piston and liner. My v3 red head is my race engine, similar story to above, just a little quicker at the top with same economy. Biggest issue is engine has more talent than driver! The thing I notice the most is that they run (at race setting) 5.15 easy, that makes a big diff in a long final (I'm sure), but gives great flexibility when to pit (traffic). Compared to other engines I've run they like to be a little rich at the bottom, but the top then screams. They hold tune too. Oh and REDS pre-break-in ensures a sweet pinch on the P&L (always bought pre broken in). Not got the diamond yet..... thinking maybe for my 2018 Serpent 988 drive :-) Mario Rossi knows his stuff. |
