hi well i recent ly bought a hpi nitro star 12R sc motor w/no pull start and i was wondering if u guys can give me some information on what i need to do to get it rolling? i have no clue. this is my frist rc car and im trying to rebuild a friend of mines rc car. thanx for the help in advance

Well first thing you'll need to get it started is a starter box, a glow plug igniter and fuel. Make sure you have a glow plug in the engine. That's for starters. :D

do i need to but like a starter shaft?

You need a starter box. The .12 does not have a roto-start plate on it so you'll need a starter box.http://www.rdlogics.com/cgi-bin/cate...ry=starter_box. This is the stuff you need to get it started.
