Bearing engine

Does anyone just try or know if have some problem using a main bearing engine with a metal retainer intead of poymite?

you're surely meaning the front bearing..............there's no problem at all........

you just have to ensure you're using a bearing which meets the tolerances at its working temperature.......

No, the main one... the rear bearing.
