air filters
 

hi all i'am new to on road runing offroad for many years.just put a new
novarossi ins box and filter on my 21 keep on used novarossi air filter oil
and ran about 1/4 gallon fuel on track.on inspection the air filter has let
some dirt through into the carb (more than a offroad filter would runing
on dirt) and engine compresion has droped off some.am i doing something
wrong or is this normal for the small onroad filters?

No that isn't normal for the filter to let any dirt into the carb. Has the foam become slightly detached from the rubber base?
