Didn't you say you already had 2 gallons thru the engine before this happened? If so, don't you think it was time for this to happen anyway?

I AVERAGE 5-6 GALLONS ON A PISTON AND SLEEVE.NOW THESE ARE HIGH END NOVAS .CONNECTING ROD GETS CHANGED EVERY 2 GALLONS

O'DONNELL fuel very good choice excellent fuel. I still think the fuel you where using was not at fault. 3 GALs through a motor is about the average life, of a pinch on a piston and sleeve, even on high end novarossi race motors. Lots of smoke means lots of lubricant in fuel. Your words not mine!
