Many thanks danyvw!

2120: this pipe substitute the 2069. Is the most popular pipe (specially in Europe. Has a good balance of low mid and great top.

2116: this is a new pipe. It has a little more bottom and mid end than the 2120 with great top end. This is my favorite pipe for 1/8 On Road

2046: This pipe has the most torque of all. This is the best pipe for .21 GT motor.

One really important suggestion when you have a new pipe (any brand) is to clean it really well inside. Most of the times the polish compound that is used to make it look nice goes inside the pipe. If you don't clean it, this compound will go into the fuel tank, mix with the fuel and go thru your piston and sleeve wearing it out!!!!
Spray break cleaner or any solvent inside the pipe and then blow it with a compressor... If you don't have a compressor repeat the process of spraying several times.. Better be safe than sorry!!
Finally someone gets it right with the 2033. Huge bottom end, great mid but so so top end.
Best sounding pipe by far ;-)
Oh, and it goes even better with the medium Novarossi header...

What kind of track is the Picco 9185 - EFRA 2654 pipe tuned for? The pipe can be seen here:

http://www.serpentamerica.com/shop/c...85-p-6434.html

I don't see this pipe listed on http://www.teampicco.com/index.php/accessories/exhausts

Default Pipes

The 2116 pipe does not appear on the picco website either. I would like to know which pipe has more top end between the 2120 and the 2116?

2120 most top end, less bottom, very smooth, best for low traction
2116 good bottom and top, best all around
2046 strong bottom and mid-range, ok/good top, torquey feel motor
2033 most bottom, less top, explosive feel

2120 & 2116 are close on top end but 2120 is 0.5-1MPH faster on top end

Can you comment on the Picco 9185 - EFRA 2654?

How does it compare to the 9183-2679 and 9184-2687?

Hi Guys,

What are the opinions on the 2678 vs 2679 pipes?

Also, does anyone know where I can find the exploded diagrams for the .12 and .21 EMX engines please?

Thanks,
Michael.

Factory settings for break in is HSN: 1 Turn out from flush and LSN 1/2 turn out from flush but this very rich, after break in a good racing setting should be HSN around 1/2 turn in from flush and LSN flush. These engines like tu run a little bit rich on the bottom and a tad lean on the top.

To me the 2678 has more bottom end. The 2679 more top end but bottom still good and slightly better fuel economy. I just run the 2679 these days as its nearly always better.

What are thoughts on running the 2033 or 2099 with the GT motor? Has anyone tested a double-bend header as well?

Hi guys can any possibly tell me the dimensions of a .21 Emx Conrod (1540)? Or does anyone know if there is any actual difference between the 1640 evo4 Conrod and the 1540 at all?

Thanks

I think the .21 EMX conrod is 1541 not 1540. BTW this is one of the most expensive conrods I ever saw in the market. I had to buy one to replace in my .21 EMX WC and paid almost $70.00 I got wondering if I ever buy another Picco Torque engine. Its the same story as with Nova's new bearings, too much money in maintenance IMHO.
