Not selling because of the bearing failure. I am sure there is another reason for his problem. Max Power engines use Novarossi bearings (As its a Nova based engine).

Add to that my engine is a 3.5cc not a 2.1cc..

John

Season is over here (Canada) and doing some house cleaning.

I bought it in the netherlands @ the LHS

but my LHS has stopped its business so i dont know where to get my support. did try to sent an email to the italians, then my computer crashed , thats the story so far. I checked my email but not even an confirmation email :P

Alright the engine was not sparkling new, yes i might even have abused the engine , although i was not ever running it very lean.
I did love the engine it was almost always ready to run.
It did have the power to compete against factory engine drivers.

Only my driver skills are so bad...

But i never said that anyone shouldnt buy Maxpower engines so maybe there is some communication error. I just wanted to know if there is anyone who experienced the same thing as myself. On my dutch forum someone stated that there were 4 other drivers who experienced the same thing.

But there are almost none responses here so it must be something unique

I would say your problem in unique in the sense that if it wasn't all Novarossi's would have the same problem...and they DONT.

Can anyone recommend a pipe for the Max .21 XRS? I'm currently running a 2052 , is there something better?

Also what the difference between the Max 2017......2018........and the new 2036 pipes?

The 2018 gives the best balance of fuel economy verses power. The 2017 leans way toward fuel economy/ less power. 2036 is a single chamber delivering all of the power Massimo builds into his engines.

Thanks for the info. I've been searching for a while and couldn't find anything. Have you ran an .21 XRS?

No. XL9 will be my first on road from Max. The experience I have had with his off-road stuff is mind numbing.
