Unfortunately changing the rod doesn't really help. It's the crank pin itself that failed on mine. Also I think you'll find it difficult to find any new P3 rods as they've been discontinued. You could try Mike Manning at YMC Racing as he used to carry these and might have one kicking about. He's also knowledgable on the 359 'fix'. I'd help but I live overseas now....

If it is a 359, the C2 Novarossi Collari rod is a direct fit.

I don't think so. If my memory is right, R rods are 5mm crank pin with the C and P rods being 4.9mm and 4.5mm or vice versa.

Correction, found a site that lists them as C rods are 4.75mm and P rods are 4.5mm.

Speedracer, sorry I agree with wingracer. The Collari rod and the P3 are different and are NOT direct fits.
