5.5t limit is more than enough as most off road mod class racers run a 7.5t motor.
It will be running a 10.5 on a large track. I was told that it will not handle it... I just do not see of the limit is 5.5 why I cannot run it.

If you have a fan on the esc, it should be fine. Just don't have the timing cranked right up on the motor, and gear it right and you'll be laughing.
