I heard he was running kosmic fuel however all the photos I've seen has an MLC fuel can on the table! Whatever it was Novarossi certainly wasn't happy about it - but they refuse to tell what is was! Not particularly helpful NR!

marco vanni was using RUNNER TIME fuel. Some 1/8 offroad racers had similar problems so the problem was in the fuel, maybe wrong oil, as bearings suffered catastrophic problems.

Maybe just a bad batch?

Runner Time is usually a good fuel. I've ran it before without any issues...

The bad batches is the actual problem.

There shouldn't be such a thing as a bad batch. Mixing fuel is anything but rocket science and if you buy good raw materials, the chances that you are going to have a bad batch are very slim.

I had very expensive problems with both fuel brands and since I went back to making my own fuel, everything is peaches and cream again.

Why would anyone use fuel they don't normally run? Cause it was free? Paid to use? Did he normally run this fuel?

Runnertime is normally one of the best fuels on the market so the choise is easily made. But yes, as Stefan mentioned, there is nothing better and more consistant than mixing your own fuel.

Anyone else thinks its suspect a brand new name is saying what fuel he ran?!?! I was there and never even saw anything outside of Byrons, Kosmic, VP, Tornado, and Maxys. Idk why he would run that fuel when all the other on-road blends were available to him (probably for free as well). Nova originally pointed the finger at MLC and then retracted their statement

I'm pretty sure he didn't ran either one of the fuels mentioned.
These are European fuels and, as far as I know, not available in the US.
I don't think he will go through the trouble of importing a couple cans of fuel for just one race.
