Maxy, I've decided to use your engines this year for racing. Which do you prefer for GT8 on-road cars? I just picked up a Cinco tuned. But at the bigger races like Byron's and Homestead which would be more beneficial in my Serpent Cobra GT.

I don't think Maxy checks RCTech too often but it would seem most of his team drivers have gone with the Cinco BT. Both engines are good but Cinco recently won the winternats at Fort Myers and had plenty of top end to perform very well at Homestead. Cinco has excellent run time and does not lack on power.

Hello Maxy, do you still recommend a .70 head shim and a c7tgf plug for the Cinco tuned for GT8 on-road race cars? Also I believe needle settings are off. What would be the stock needle settings on the Cinco tuned to start over.

0.70 Is fine and NOVC7TGF.

Stock Needle Setup
The high flow needle (main needle) set to adjust the debit of the fuel must be clockwise turned in totally closed
(do not keep so as to avoid damaging or blocking the needle in the spray bar), and then opened again 3,5 turns.

The low flow needle must be turned in totally and then open again 5 turns.
