I have been using the ODO99T glow plug for more then two years now in competition racing. I think they are the best glow plugs out there.

These 299T V2 seems to be the succesor but i can not find any info or them or any shop that sells them.

Anybody have any info regarding what's changed and where you can buy them ?

I'm not sure where u can buy them yet, the change is at the bottom the whole is a little bigger than normal, and the coil is a lot better also. I know at the nats he was walking around and selling them to those that wanted to try them. The 1/8 scale ones are great on the Picco motors (which most of our testing was on) the throttle response was a lot crisper and run time was increased (some upwards of 30sec or more). For NovaRossi i dont have any info about. For sedan everyone loved them didnt hear anything bad about those walking around the pits. Steve has a website that hes working on Odonnellglowplugs.com that im sure when up and running u should be able to buy from

Thanks all that is the info i was looking for.
I asked the question throught the O'Donnell fuel website also but apparantly they have nothing to do with the glow plug business :-)

Yep that's what they told me LOL
Over here in Europe you don't see the O'Donnell glow plugs beeing used.
As far as i now i'm the only one using them in the dutch national competition.
This is strange because they are the best quality i have found until now. I have tried Novarossi, Picco, OS,... but the O'Donnell plugs outlast them all.
Also the wire doesn't break off and cause damage to the engine when they fail.

Xceed XPT7 is what I use, and I recently ran out of Sirio plugs, which where also very good....
I also use OS RP7 plugs, what is the problem you have found with them?

No problem with the other brands of plugs but for me the o'donnell plugs just seem to last a lot longer then for instance the os plugs. When i get the new o'donnells i will give you one M7H so you can test them for yourself :-)

The same I have with Merlinglowplugs. They last longer, the wire can stand a lot and when it gets damaged it will stay put on its place.

And most important, they are affordable.

I cant recall anyone at our local track running those glow plugs, so i cant compare. But from what ones we have tested with, the O'Donnell ones are the best

Had a great day of testing again last Sunday 9/29, doing back to back runs with ninja, novarossi, ODonnell plugs, and again ODonnell plugs got the most runtime and engine performance. Playing with the needle we managed to squeeze out
almost 6min of runtime in back to back sessions.
