Default nitro star pro .12rxs and 30%

does anyone know if an extra shim is needed to run 30% in this motor?
summertime is getting here and I want to keep it running cool...

It probably would not hurt to shim it up 0.1 or 0.2 first before you run it with 30%. Better to shim it now than to run it, overheat it, and have to do an early replacement of a piston, pin, sleeve, and rod.
