Again, more selling gimmicks. Not much has changed than only the off center carburator. The off center is placing the crankshaft intake more symetric in line with the crankpin making it much easier to balance but if it is faster....
I doubt if they really have a patent on that because I have seen more engines with such a placement. |
Nova are too expensive for the performance now days. Good engines but at the price????

Virtus 21 is the new bar that all engines will be judged by. It's both more powerful and more efficient. Simply a better engine. Yes, it is expensive but Novarossi is also the only company pushing forward with design and improvements and that means that they have higher costs than other companies who seem to be happy copying what Nova introduced last year or years before.
BTW Nova has great engines starting at less the $200 so the regardless of anyone's budget they can offer a great engine. The argument that Novas are too expensive is a faceless argument by haters. |

I rather buy an "expensive" nova than any other motor. Ive had others, and was fed up with their weak con rods. Ive had a novas last me years by just replacing the rod once a year. You get what you pay for:nod:

The new Vir-tus .21 is another powerful but yet sexy beast from the Novarossi line of engines. You just got to love that purple head!!! |
I know Novarossi is still a best buy but a lot of changes in the last years has nothing to do with performance, it is more marketing. Impossible bearings.. give it a hitech reason but mainly it is protecting market so no other bearing can be found. Now with the other position of the carburator is already an old idea and I doubt it will boost performance.
Most drivers have enough with a 35-plus-21 or a Flash as I do see in the Dutch competition. |

I don't think it is a coincidence that Nova is the current World Champ in 1/10th Touring, 8th scale and 8th scale off-road buggy. |
Novarossi
These engines have been the cream of the crop for a long long time
And with the addition of nova tuned pre run you get the best of the best Most important question is when do they arrive here in the states? |

Have you had a chance to drop one of the new Vir-tus motors into a 977 to see if the slight forward offset on the carb location causes any linkage or tank clearance issues?? Suspicious it would have been a problem on the 966. |
