Have you tried returning it to factory settings and working from there?

Have you tried them? Once you have run in the motor which i assume you have done lean off the high speed needle before the low end then work from there

not having a lean idle problem? try a nova carb if it is, i had this problem with the std evo2 carb, swapped to a nova one and fixed it straight up.

sounds like bottom ends to lean, saying that i guess by richening it up on the origional carby did no good hence why you now have the MT12 one on it which has made it a little better? worse?

I was suffereing the same problem with my evo2, no matter how close i was able to tune it, it would always have a lean idle problem, got a nova carb threw it on reset to factory settings re-adjusted it up and it was a whole new motor

Sirio .12/15/18 (General Carburetor Settings)
High Speed - 5.5 turns
Low Speed - 2-1/2 (Generally this should be flush with the end of the slide)
