pressure hose
I realise that some of the top driver fix with longer pressure hose but some are not, what is the diference longer pressure hose and the shorter, would it effect the run time, idling, performance or etc.
thanks in advance |
HELP:cry:

The length is resistance and also a bit reaction time. Because it is your fuel pump you can control it a bit with the length of the pressure hose.
In the past there were some problems with a short line so people were using longer lines but today there are pressure chambers solving a lot. |

Could be. A short line is giving hard pulses in the tank. A chamber act as an expansion chamber damping the hard pulses and building up a more constant pressure.
A longer hose works almost the same. One of the common issues with a bad pressure is the cogging with a full tank. |
I have been told to run my pressure tube 1 & 1/2 lengths of my pipe and header, I am not running a pressure chamber just straight to the tank.
Thanks Andrew |
