Default Nova Mega SX-12RT M.S gets too hot!

Hi!

I have a Nova Mega SX-12 M.S that really likes to get hot, it's impossible to get it under 260 F no matter how rich you set it. To get it going fast I have to lean it so it gets like 300 F!

I heard that the M.S is known to get hot, and that its users used to have larger heads on them to get them cooler, is that correct? If not, what should I do to get it cooler? I have a TOP #6 plug, some "noname" fuel with 14% oil (will try changing to Tornado).

First, get some real fuel.

Use 30% with a Medium to Cold plug.

Seal the backplate and carb throat with sensor safe RTV to prevent air leaks.

I can't use more than 16% nitro since EFRA won't allow more. I'll get some Tornado and se if it works better, if not I'll try sealing.

16%, I think you should use a Hot plug for that, i'd have someone confirm that though, im not sure.

I have a NovaRossi 6# in it, and except from the heat it works just fine?
