best glow plug for os tr (p) ?
 

hey team

just wanted to know what would be the best overall glow plug for the OS TR P engine running 15% ??

the reason i ask is because i tried the os8 plugs but they seam to burn out and the coil inside breaks out

I then tried the os 5 plug and it ran sweet for 3 5minute heats and a 15 min final but when i checked the plug i noticed it was starting to break inside

weird ??


also would upgrading the engines head button to a turbo plug improve the performance much?

hey john, its todd here :) yeah id reccomend upgrading to a turbo head, that way you can run nova turbo plugs in your engine, as far as i have found they seem to be the most reliable out of all the glow plugs on the market. ive run the same glow plug for about 3 ltrs of fuel ( put 2 ltrs thru the engine last weekend at the sydney grand prix ) and its still running strong :nod:

Sounds to me as though you are running a bit too lean.
Too much heat and burning up the glow plug.
Worth a try!!!
