rb engine parts

where can i buy a piston, sleeve and connecting rod for a rb t9 engine.

Pertn 05-28-2012 01:29 PM

You can buy Nova 8677 piston and sleeve and 8677/11 thats in the Flash, Keepon engine. Conrod for RB is Nova 7601. 7604 does not work due to bigger diameter on the conrod at the crank pin.

If you go with Nova parts, here you go...http://www.kamikazercracing.com/products
You could talk to one of the tuners too. Rick at RB Mods or Uriah at Murnan Mods.

The RB R3,T9,10,11 are based on the Nova Plus 12-3 and Flash,Keepon has the same piston and sleeve but with new timing.

so if i went with the nova keepin on would i have to change the crank since the keepin on has different timing

No! I don't remember the timing of the piston and sleeve on the T9 but I have done it on one and it work just fine with Nova 2652 and short manifold.
You just need to change the conrod from 7604 to 7601.
You can get a new O-ring for the new chamber that comes with 8677/11 and use it insted of RB's and get more top end and run time.
