New Engine choices

hi guys, in the market for a new .21 on road engine. so im basically deciding between a few different engines

Picco torque .21 EDO
Novarosssi 35 plus 21
OS speed xzr

im kinda leaning more towards the novarossi because you can get the 35 plus 21 quite cheap, its fast but im thinking its abit out dated, i know you can get 2011 versions but still think its out dated. the picco and the OS im not really sure about. can someone maybe give help me out with a decision or maybe recommend a different engine. PS the engine will be only really used for club racing :)

I would go for the 35+ since you can't beat it for the price and for some serious power get the murnan mod.

Between the picco and OS I'll say Picco all the way - has serious power.

But I'm sure there is are more experienced racers that will give you their opinion ...

Do not think the 35+ is outdated, it is a strong performing mill with long lifespan.

Picco Torque is definately a strong engine. Have been running a stock version not the EDO mod and have been keeping up with .21 PTS no problem. Amazing bottom and Top End. Consistency and Reliability is no problem with the torque engine line. Great Fuel mileage plus power. There is no comparison. The new Torque line from picco is honestly the strongest engine I have yet to run in any of my cars and I have run everything pretty much (ex. Novarossi, RB, Max) it is a monster. Quick break in process and cannot beat the price. Seriously consider this engine. There is no other engine I would rather run that this one. Reliability is very good, almost on my 3rd gallon and engine is just as fast as day one! THESE ENGINES ARE AMAZING!:D

Im glad you asked, first off cost is the thing that got me. The cost of a Picco Torque .21 non mod( still very fast) is right around $325. Breaking in procedure is very quick with the Torque only 500cc rich around track ( i idle one tank before just as precaution) Then let the engine cool, after that its back out to the track and start leaning hour by hour. The next thing that got me is the outright power. Amazing bottom end and matched top end to the .21 PTS engines. Consistency of these engines is amazing and reliability is amazing. Only changed rod after is was broken in and is like I said, Almost 3rd gallon and is still amazingly strong. Lastly, Fuel mileage is simply fantastic. I run a qualifier and if you ask anyone i'm hard on the throttle all the time, but after the qualifier I look at the tank and i still have about 2 laps left. This is when the engine is still rich and blowing tons of smoke. This engine is the Triple threat. Power, Reliability and fuel mileage. What else could you ask for out of an engine. Anyways hopes this opens your eyes to a truly great engine. I would not endorse a product that I don't think works. These engines will not disappoint in any way.

Gordo

I have tried the nova 2015 but the Picco pipe is the way to go. Tons of more power and easier to tune. Picco pipe,Picco engine perfect combo. 2069 pipe is the best with this engine
