Yep, normally the intake does not need any change in timing unles you gonna work with shims to raise the sleeve.

But be sure when you have grinded into the pots you have to smoothen the sharp edges, if you do not do that you will get scratches on the piston.

Before I cleaned the sleeve I smoothed the little edges within the sleeve, and the angles are fine. Thank you, and all the others, for sharing such valuable information. I love tweaking these little motors, and after destroying many motors, I finally have an idea of what "to do" and "not to do." Now, where can I buy a sleeve pinching device, and are they worth it?
