All I have to say is that this engine is the stuff. Just ran mine at my local club track yesterday (130 x 100) with a somewhat technical layout (the electric racers designed the layout this time). Engine race in the 215F to 235F range and I was making my five minute qualifiers with almost a half a tank left and had plenty of power to spare. I teamed my 12tz with the Yokomo one-piece header/pipe and it worked to perfection. Anyone spending tons of $$$ for the Nova-based or Sirio-based engines need to save their $$$ and get any one of the OS 12tz (EB mod, JP mod, etc) engines out there. You won't be disappointed.

Anyone running a stock OS .12TZ with say a Vantage or Skyline pipe? Just wondering. Is the OS pipe really the best pipe to bring out the power in this engine?

From what I've heard they are about the same but. But, price wise it's the Skyline Pipe.. You really can't go wrong with either one!!
