Ok so I still have some fresh Odonnells 20% left. Break it in with that and then later on run the 30%? Start with the stock plug and then later what plug should I go with for the tz? RB pipe is the 401.

I'd suggest you give the engine break-in with the same fuel your going to run the engine. But this is just me. Stay with the stock plug, and if you need spares. Buy them at rc-toro.com (6 pieces for $28) while OS glow plugs alone cost up to $10-12 each. I used Cyrul's break-in procedure. I did use a heat gun on the engine to expand the sleeve. Only problem I had during the procedure, was the engine reaching high RPM's when I re-fueled. For this, I closed the throttle to idle, refueled, then back to full throttle. Had to re-start the engine sometimes due to flame outs.

Yes it is pre shimmed to work on 30%, if you read the instructions its in there. You can also take the .1mm shim out if your running 20%, this is also in the instructions that came with the motor.

As mentioned in a previous post, the Skyline VR12 is also an excellent pipe for this engine....good low end torque and it certainly allows both the stock TZ and the ZAC to make good top end speed as well ....its also one of the best value for money pipes available and i reckon its more durable than the RB pipe i was running previously.
Cheers

This is probably not the right thread. But, I could not see one for it. I recently purchased a OS .18TZ from rc-toro. I need to get a pipe and header for it. It is intended to put into a V1RRR. Any suggestions are welcome!!!

i think it really depends on where you are. i had add a .1 shim to it at the winternats to prevent from blowing plugs but i normally run .4 mm of shims everywhere i go.

VERY good.....i ran it over 3 days at a recent event and was extremely pleased with it.....good low end punch and on a medium sized track it lost nothing down the straight to any other engine....its more willing to rev than the stock TZ.
The ZAC TZ was also apparently used by a couple of guys who finished top 10 at the recent Pre-Worlds
Cheers
