OK thanks. Some of the guys bought Sirio engines and they had modded cranks so couldnt use them here. I want to be sure the OS is OK before it gets considered.

Everybody runs Megas here and there has to be an alternative.

Cheers

Yup, the OS TZ is an awesome engine for that price. Ran it the first time over weekend at the local Kyosho cup race and finished A main 5th with it, engine was reliable and yet as fast as the italian mills. All I can say is highly recommended!!

Well... I was able to witness the power of this engine this weekend. During the 2nd latinoamerican cup, Maxy Velasco ran a stock OS TZ and I can tell you, it was keeping up with no problem with the other cars in the Main A. But I gotta state that Paolo Morganti's car was just a rocket through the straight and infield. I wish I would know what hes done to his car because no other Mega Picco engine can match up his speed in the straight. But yeah... For the price of this engine and the performance is good to have one.

A very good price
Romuald, where in France did you order it from? Was it from an online shop?

Default Tuned pipe

Hi! İ am planning to put tihs engine on my modified rs 43 and i am thinking about how i fit the tuned pipe to the car.

http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/produc...ducts_id=13298
İs this manifold and tuned pipe fits on my car and 12TZ, it writes 6 degree, what means it,is it the diameter of the manifold? Or any advise to install the muffler on rs 43 or fw05 .
Thanks a lot.

Ziggy, its your lucky day ... I found the pic that romuald31 posted on my hard disk ... I've uploaded it in the 3hobby gallery.

It looks EFRA legal to me but we need to check with Romuald what is the exact model name and where he bought it from.

There's a dyno test of the .12 TZ 5 port in the Aug RC Driver mag.
1.8 HP!!
Not bad for an itty bitty engine!!

Is the TZR and the TZ(P) on 3 hobby the same engine?

Ziggy, I don't think there is a TZ "R" (yet). Not sure that there will be. Here is the current list of OS .12TZ engines

11370 = 3 port, standard shaft, rotary carb TZ-T3
11371 = 3 port, short shaft, rotary carb TZ(S)-T3
11373 = 3 port, SG shaft, slide carb TZ(P)-T3
11375 = 5 port, SG shaft, slide carb TZ(P)-T5

What pipe is great for the TZ 5 port? Can I use the one that is matched with the 3 port?

I have also asked the specific differences between the TZR and TZ (P). According to Masa from Rc-Champ, TZR is meant for export market. Whether there is any differences internally, god knows
