Does anyone have a source for the DSII? I'd like to buy one.

Hello Paolo,

I'm still wondering about the DSII, mainly the flameout problem you had. Was it just head clearence? Too rich?

Thanks

The flameout problems I also had with my "DSI", I found out that if the plug is just a bit "damaged" because of a lean engine, the engine will run properly on the startbox, but when it needs to give power, on the track, it will flame out......
Putting this "damaged" plug in a Nova based engine will work ok, but the Mega has problems with it......

It seems to me that the Mega engine is very critical on it's glowplug, so you really have to watch out not to run the engine to lean, otherwise you need to replace the plug.
Again, this was for the previous ZX-"DSI".

I ordered the DSII also, will have it next week, and have to see how this engine reacts on these type of plug problems (I will certainly put an older plug in which didn't work on the DSI, to find out)

M7H:

As far I know you can only use mega glow pluds becuase they have a "diferent" conical shape. If I understand correctly you are using Nova Glows??

Just in case!!

No, I know that, read my story again....
I said that I used a Mega plug in a Nova based engine.

Were there any racers using the Race ZX12 engine bone stock with no mods and had no trouble keeping up with the rest of the pack? I seen a vid of one in a car, and it does seem as fast as the vid of the car with OS .12TZ. The one with JP was overall faster though.
