I don't think the engine will notice, but I recommend you to also upgrade to a Serpent car....

And keep in mind, regularly check and if needed replace the conrod...........

You are correct, the Palmaris conrod is not easy to find.

Hey don't rub it in. I feel bad enough using a Serpent product in my Mugen as it is.

Default Which One.............

I have both the Mega ZX12 and the OS TZ12 with one clutch, I'm running on a 250 by 125ft track(301 Raceway), which one would I have better luck with on the back stretch?

Picco makes their own PR 12, also the Mega ZX 12 and the LRP R12.

Picco has launched their Evo 2 version
LRP has launched their Spec.2 version

Will Mega launch their Mega ZX 12 Evo or Spec.2 version?????

If you get it tuned right, the Mega will be quicker and faster than the OS.

Maybe the first batch of the ZX series was of poor quality due to the fact that Serpent was trying make it affordable. Now that may not be the case. I have the new production engine and it tunes very well. All you have to remember is to let it warm up before you start turning the needles. All Picco's that I've had are like this.

Yes, and this all is because of the carb.
First give it time to warm up properly before you start changing the settings......

But still I think they are more affordable then other engines.......

Not too picky, but I do fancy looks and the Mega looks great in the 960. Anyone have any pics up close of theirs in their car? Also, whats the material of the carb, composite? That'd be great to fight that vapor lock. How would the Mega DS II .21 rate against the OS VZR? Maybe it may be on par with my Nova Top I am guessing which will be great enough for me.

Hehe I had no idea what your car looked like last year, but awesome. Kewl you have your own name in your website. My friend was interested in a 950 and was wondering if it's still good or just get the 960? He never ran 8th before.
