Default Mega Plugs

Hey all.

I was wondering if someone knew what the heat ranges are on the new mega plugs for the zx12 engine.

Also it would be double super if serpent could stamp the plugs with the heat range particulars like nova/os ones i've used so i dont have to remember which is what

They seem to be a great plugs for the price too.

I've been using the dremel to mark the numbers on them. It's pretty weak that they don't stamp the numbers on them.

Yeah or you could maybe find like a paint pen and get like however many colors for what plugs you have and get like red black and blue. Then put a little mark on the side.

red for the hottest plug , black for your medium and blue for your cold....

Once you get the tuning down, you'll be happy. Look for someone in your area that has one. Read the tuning advice here. If you only have novarossi experience you will need to get used to this one. But the performance is great.

I'll be the only one with the Mega in the area, but this thread has given me some good tips. If I have problems I'll look at going with another RB thou.

If you mean it sounds rich it needs to be leaned out a bit. Remember, you want it to sound just a little rich in the beginning, when it warms up it should be in the ball park.

Rcfoolz,
It does sound like you are a bit too rich on the bottom.

Try taking a set of needle nose & pinching your fuel line going to the carb, as you try to start it .It may take a few try to clear out the flooding but If it does get better or even stop back firing ,, then make a small adjustment to the bottom needle.

Just one other thing you can check. Make sure your pressure line blows free and clear. That has caused some headaches in the pits before.
