About the fuel, thanks to clarify that and we do agreed that this engine is extremely well while using 10% oil or less.
And the durability is awesome, recently we overcooked 2 engine, 190 and 175 deg C (using 30%nitro+11%oil) and no problem after that, untill today(almost 3rd gallon).

About 2 turn out LSN, I was confused. Maybe there is some difference on full closed position. All of our MEGA.12 was using 4.5 to 5.5 turns out (around 1.2 - 1.5 mm out !!). Leaner than that, initial torque is weaker and sometimes temp will raising rapidly. (sea level,29-33C ambient, 75-90% humid, asphalt temp could reach 65C).

1 more question Mr Paolo, if you dont mind...
How is the detail of your clutch setup ?
On tight/technical track with max. ratio we still feel some delay. Especially after very slow hairpin, we need more punch to came out. And taking Mr. Art word.. "CannonBall" .. yah, we miss that feeling.
GoldFinger,

I have found that sometimes the LSN have some diffenrences in length. So is not really a good indicator the # of turns. I think that the pinch procedure (described in a previous post) is much more accurate and for sure safe.

About clutch setup, i have tried different solutions . and so far the best solution is: std flyweigths, yellow pads, 1.8mm spring (part 909518), 0.7mm end play and 1.7mm more or less pre load (from top of clutch nut to preload adj collar).
Important is also the pipe. If you doon't use the 2607 you will mes a lot of bottom

Yes, the fuel will work. Engine is setup for 25% at sea level.
If you are going to use 30% you need to add 0.10mm shim

Default Difference between 2602 & 2607 Pipe?

Paolo, Can you explain how the ZX12 Race will perform differently with the 2602 & 2607 pipe? I had the 2602 and then bought the ZX12 Powerpack that came with the 2607. I haven't run it yet, but I would liek to know how it might behave differently with the 2 pipes. Thanks

Hi,
Once I saw you mention 1.7 pre-load.. what a relief for us here. Thanks for confirming that, absolutely we have same engine.. ha ha ..
About the needle quite funny is it? anyway the pinch is very much make sense.. will do.
Agreed with the pipe, in EFRA race NRS 52606 and MAX 02602E is not for this engine. But very wide option for turbo/outlaw pipe.

Good Luck for your racing scene.
