Default ENGINE Break in

Hello,

Who can tell me how to judge whether or not an engine is break-in OK?

what is the judgement standard?

Do you mean method or whether it's broken in?

There are many argued ways of doing a break-in. The most common method involves:

1. Choose your nitro percentage for break-in for the proper hysteresis process, and DO NOT change nitro percentage after break-in (or you will need to re-run a break-in)
2. Do not run idle tanks
3. Running the engine at as rich a condition as possible and at no more than 1/4-1/2 throttle for at LEAST 8 tanks
4. Break it in under LOAD, that is, put it on the ground and drive it around at the above throttles during the break-in
5. Allow FULL COOLING between tanks to aquire a proper heat cycling

There are many actual methods.

I've switched from 20-30% many times and never have to break in. I think you mean re-tune.

No, I mean re-break-in.

The process is called hysteresis.
