it's a truck engine, for T-Maxx/Revo etc, not a car engine, though you could use it for anything you like...paperweight etc.

This engine can also work in on-roaders too, same physical dimensions as the .12-.15 os engines and available with a pilot shaft.

TZ is NOT a off road or big foot or truck engine, OS TM is.....TZ is a on-road engine, RCCA tested and dynoed that engine with a Kyosho V1RRR........

When you think of HIGH END on-road engines....who will think of "OS"...? You will think RB, NovaRossi, JP, MAx....etc.
Beside, this is a .18 outlaw illegal engine....designed for bashing, not really for any legal club race or national or world race.

Just get 1 and have fun at the practice period or on your driveway....$180 is a super deal.

I second that I have just ordered one for my NTC3!

I found quite many ppl just see the name of OS, or some other "big volume" small block engines, then they tell you at once without have a look: It's just a Truck Engine. They only thought Nova, RB, JP, Max are on road engines. I very disagree with this standpoint!

Xtreme power coming from that engine. Better make sure you have NOTHING loose on your cars otherwise they're gonna wear out rediculously fast. It's basically like strapping an OS .21 rz in your car with less weight. I'm staying with a NS12. Enough power for me. Gonna wait for the feedback from Rookie of his test with the TZ.

Guys, if you want an awesome motor for your 1/10 TC, the TR E or R-spec is the way to go. They are legal for ROAR racing and have GOBS of power. There have been plenty of guys try to out power my NTC3 at our local races- $350 custom tuned Italian motors... you name it, and none of them can outrun my $160 TR E-spec.

It's easy to tune and easy to maintenance. Plus, like always tell the local guys, you better be able to drive like Baker and tune like Masami if you want to be able to use more power than a stock TR R-spec has, cause one good pipe shot and it didn't matter anyway. THAT is the reality of spending too much on a motor!!

I was just discussing that today at the LHS. This is the one I wanted...

http://www.osengines.com/engines/osmg2007.html

It's weird though it's discontinued about tower. What do you reckon of this one here..

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCNA3&P=7

I'm guessing that one isn't race legal because of the 5 ports, but in the past they said it was? What gives? I'm gonna have the LHS guys order the one on the first link.
